MY STORY
When I started hair school, I knew exactly what I wanted to achieve. Have my own salon suite, build up a huge clientele, and make lots of money being a business owner. And I was very lucky to achieve that in less than 4 years.
But this version of success wasn’t as sweet as I thought it would be. I was overwhelmed, overworked, and quite frankly, tired of dealing with people draining me. I got so burnt out that I decided to walk away and leave the industry.
You know those days where you dream about burning your business to the ground and getting a regular job? Yeah, I did that.
And let me tell you, it did NOT fix my problems. Having a regular job sucked more than doing hair!
A few months later I found myself taking on some clients just to make extra side $$.
And little by little, I rediscovered my love for being an artist.
But I knew that if I was going to be a hairstylist and business owner again, I had to do things differently.
Build my business with boundaries and energetic alignment. Only choosing the people and experiences that supported the kind of life I wanted. Since I had already destroyed everything once, I figured I had nothing to lose by rebuilding it exactly the way I wanted.
And, well, the results have been shocking.
I now have the life and business I dreamt of having on that first day of hair school.
A life where I enjoy my daily experience in and out of the salon. Where my relationships with clients feels energizing and balanced. Where money is no longer the driving force behind my decisions. Instead it’s alignment and whether something is supporting the life I want.
Where I not only better understand myself, but love who I've become.
And the most shocking is part is that these results didn’t come from some external thing. It wasn't a color class or the latest marketing strategy. It came from me focusing on myself first. What motivated me. What limiting beliefs were holding me back.
